what if the shivers we get when we hear music is just a taste - a mere shadow - of the beauty we were made to experience, always?

my friend Alex told me that Nietzsche said that if religion benefitted you - gave you a sense of community, helped you feel a sense of self-betterment - then that's cool .... but just know, in the back of your head, that none of it is real.
