humans are not fixed beings. who we are is changeable, different things at different times, different with different people.
utterly fragile.
able to adapt to any circumstances, if willing.
the fragility in our nature lends us to constant growth; our mind and its precepts and presuppositions able to be altered when challenged.
it just takes time.
